Boardspace is an international online literary and life magazine for anyone connected to a boarding school. We’re the lovechild of the New Yorker and your school’s literary magazine.
- Boardspace is all about now. We’re for the bright young things and the current zeitgeist.
- Boardspace is for the boarding experience. This is a chance to compare notes with people out of your school’s “bubble.” Life. Culture. Politics. Ideas. Arts. Humor. Oh yeah, and school.
- Boardspace strives to be as smart as possible—but don’t think we take ourselves too seriously. Because we don’t. We’re good-humored people who want to get to know other good-humored people.
- We’re all about you. At Phillips Exeter Academy (and a few other schools), there's a learning method called Harkness. The Harkness method is a teaching style in which a group of students sit around an oval table with their teacher, and instead of raising hands in the class, they have a conversation. Everyone brings something to the table, and every voice is equal. We want yours. Think of Boardspace as an online Harkness table where the conversation never stops.
