Issue 3 submissions are OPEN.
[submission guidelines] We at Boardspace seek to publish the best creations of those connected to boarding schools across the globe--which is why we're excited to see what you've got to submit.
Boardspace publishes prose, poetry, articles (anything from humor to journalistic pieces), op-eds, interviews, and art. Anyone connected to a boarding school may submit: current students, alumni, faculty, townies, etc. If you are interested in submitting your work for consideration, please refer to the guidelines below. We recommend that you read some of Boardspace before you submit your work. Deadline for Issue 3: April 1st, 2013 [what we're looking for]
We're looking for the most original, fresh, and thoughtful work you have. We want work with an edge. Work that sparks conversation.
[how to submit]
Each individual work should be its own attachment in an email to: submit [at] boardspacemag [dot] com. Please make sure you have it written as boardspaceMAG and not just 'boardspace'.
Manuscripts (the attachment) must not include the author's name anywhere. Please limit your total submissions to at most 2 per category. Simultaneous submissions will be considered, but please let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. In the body of the email, please list the titles and categories of your submissions, and also describe your connection to boarding schools. Also include briefly how you heard about us (through a friend, twitter, tumblr, facebook, etc.). We will respond within 2 weeks after the submission deadline. We cannot respond to status inquiries within that time period. However, feel free to inquire after two weeks of no response. |
